The Big Crunch

When we were kids (about 2 decades back), we were taught in school & college that the universe is expanding and the expansion is accelerating. Also we were taught how gravity works and it led to sometimes wonder that the massive size of stars and galaxies shall one day be able to slow down and finally stop the expansion of the universe under the influence of gravity of each other (stars & galaxies).  And eventually when  this happens the universe shall start to collapse back under the influence of gravity towards a final single point where all the matter & energy of the universe shall meet once again just like it might be existing before the big bang.  Also this eld to wonder if our universe was expanding and collapsed into singularity before the big bang too? is it like a cycle where the universe expands & collapse and again expands till eternity (may be). Who knows, but the concept above that the universe may collapse into singularity is known as "The Bi...

Big Bang & the Black Holes

We have often wondered that how the universe started and came into existence. What was before it and what will be left after the universe dies (if it does) So, Recently I came up with an idea that what happens to all the matter & energy that goes into the black holes. Do they remain there forever or do they come out when the black hole explodes. So,  here is what I came up with: As a black hole gets smaller and smaller, it emits more and more radiation. In the last moments of its life, the black hole emits so much radiation, so quickly that it effectively acts like a bomb, releasing a torrent of high-energy radiation and particles .  #1 It is worth to be noted that "Astronomers have not seen any black holes explode so far, but they are still on the lookout " So, what if the explosion of blackhole is nothing but a new "BIG-BANG", the start of a new universe, a new life. What if our universe was nothing but a blackhole in a larger universe of which we are a part o...
